Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears have taken to Twitter to support gay marriage, just days after Miss California Carrie Prejean sparked controversy during Sunday night's Miss USA competition when asked by celeb blogger Perez Hilton if more states should legalize same-sex marriage.

Prejean stated her opinion that marriage should be between a man and a woman — and in the process has made an enemy of Hilton — but has also started a conversation among many notable celebrities on Twitter.

"Love is love!" Britney Tweeted to Perez. "People should be able to do whatever makes them happy!"

Miley Cyrus Tweeted similar thoughts, telling Hilton, "Jesus loves you and your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! That's like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz he's gay and that is wrong and very sad! Like I said everyone deserves to be happy. I am a Christian and I love you — gay or not. Because you are no different that anyone else! We are all God's children!"

Apparently her comments are right in line with those of "Hills" star Heidi Montag, who is expected to marry the show's Spencer Pratt this weekend.

I don’t normally focus on D-list celebrity gossip, but this was just too funny to pass up. Heidi Montag, the “reality” star who has managed to outdo Paris Hilton in the vapid blond department, is planning a career as an actress and a screenwriter.

It seems Montag has had some time on her hands now that MTV has cancelled “The Hills” after six seasons and she’s finished healing from a plastic surgery transformation even Michael Jackson would have called excessive. She’s gained a minuscule amount of experience acting in a short Funny or Die bit directed by Ron Howard and a cameo on the latest Adam.

The 23-year-old attention whore told People (via Cinematical) she has written a screenplay about a lifeguard named Summer who saves the beach from a shark with… wait for it… her boobs. It’s a 3D beach comedy! “Of course,” Montag will play the lead, but she’s written a part for Dolly Parton to play the mayor. What is this, a town of only large-breasted women? Where is this magical place?

Okay, okay, so we've already seen Heidi Montag walk down the aisle once before (in a Balenciaga dress and Louboutin shoes), and nearly pull the trigger in a more subdued dress at City Hall, but this weekend was the real deal (we think!) and the bride wore Monique Lhuillier. So she didn't design her own dress, like she said she would, but Heidi officially became Mrs. Spencer Pratt at a ceremony in Pasadena yesterday, followed by a reception at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel (three guesses if there were reality TV cameras and tabloid photogs there to capture the action, and the first two guesses don't count!). According to Lhuillier's camp, Heidi chose "a stunning Monique Lhuillier custom designed strapless dropped waist ball gown with an intricate overlay of silk organza peacock feathers. Her waist was accentuated with a silk chiffon sash embellished with a floral motif composed of Swarovski crystals and pearls. To complete the look Heidi chose a chapel length heavily beaded Swarovski crystal veil."

When Audrina Patridge is calling you out for having too plastic surgery, you've got issues. Then again, Heidi Montag is probably just thrilled to be mentioned at all.

After all, The Hills star insists on calling herself a pop star and claims her debut album is on par with Michael Jackson's Thriller. Whatever keeps her in the news.

Audrina's take on Heidi Montag's plastic surgery is that it's her body and her choice, but at the same time, she herself wouldn't be tempted to go nearly that far.

"I haven't seen how she looks, so it's hard for me to comment on it, but these are her decisions, and as long as Heidi's happy, that's all that matters," Audzo said.Very diplomatic.

Rumors that Audrina herself has fake boobs and has undergone other plastic surgery procedures in the past have circulated widely, but she's never confirmed it.

Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag will always be linked by The Hills.

Even a full season after LC retired from the show she made famous, and years after she and Heidi stopped being close, she's still asked about her.

Conrad, who just celebrated her 24th birthday Monday, said despite the pressures on young women in Hollywood, she won't be going under the knife.

Asked if she'd had or considered plastic surgery, the best-selling author and fashion designer laughed and said "not so far, no... it's a personal choice."

"Everybody's different. Everybody needs to do what's good for them."

Lauren Conrad left The Hills after five seasons and is now focusing on her fashion line at Kohl's, plus her work as an author of young adult fiction books.

Montag is focusing on undergoing plastic surgery pretty much constantly and coming out with some of the worst music in human history. Team Lauren!

LC was reluctant to comment on the recent Heidi Montag plastic surgery debacle this morning on Good Morning America, but did so diplomatically.

Asked what her reaction was after seeing Heidi's new appearance, which some liken to that of a circus freak, Conrad paused and said, "It's a look."
